Traditional Grinding Method of Rolling Linear Guide

The mechanical reciprocating motion is realized by the guide rail, and the motion accuracy of the rolling linear guide rail depends on the manufacturing accuracy of the linear guide rail. As an important process in the processing of rolling linear guide, grinding is of great significance to ensure the manufacturing accuracy of rolling linear guide. Rolling linear guide grinding method mainly has the following 4 kinds, the current commonly used for the latter 3 kinds:

Method 1: Three processes are required to realize the grinding of the working surface of the raceway on both sides, the bottom surface of the installation and the two sides.
(1) Grinding the upper and lower sides and both sides on a plane grinder;
(2) The surface grinder is equipped with a set of dressing device. The workpiece is fixed by the installation bottom surface and corrected by the side surface. A grinding head grinds the working surface of one side raceway;
(3) The workpiece is turned around, and the installation bottom surface is fixed and the side surface is corrected. A grinding head grinds the raceway working surface on the other side. For reasons of accuracy and efficiency, this approach has been rarely used.
Method 2: Through two processes to achieve both sides of the raceway work surface and the installation of the bottom surface, both sides of the grinding

(1) Grinding the upper and lower sides and both sides on a plane grinder;
(2) The forming grinder is equipped with two sets of correction devices. The workpiece is fixed with the installation bottom surface and the side surface is corrected. The two grinding heads respectively grind the raceway working surfaces on both sides.
Method 3: Through two processes to achieve both sides of the raceway working surface and installation of the bottom surface, both sides of the grinding (see Figure 2e).
(1) Surface grinding machine grinding installation bottom surface and top surface;
(2) The forming grinder is equipped with two sets of correction devices, the workpiece is fixed by the installation bottom surface, and the two grinding heads complete the grinding of the working surfaces on both sides and the raceway at one time.
Method 3: Through two processes to achieve both sides of the raceway work surface and the installation of the bottom surface, both sides of the grinding
(1) Surface grinding machine grinding installation bottom surface;
(2) The forming grinder is equipped with three sets of correction devices. The workpiece is fixed with the installation bottom surface. The two grinding heads complete the grinding of the two sides and the raceway working surfaces on both sides at one time, and the third grinding head completes the grinding of the top surface of the guide rail.
